Tucked into the contours of the hill, the estate is set 100 meters from the public road. All of the spacious, luxury villas sit discretely within their own private walled gardens. The common facilities include a secure and sheltered car park, which is flanked by a small, elegant reception area where guests will be made to feel very welcome upon arrival. The open-sided reception pavilion features a rustic terracotta tiled floor and comfortable chairs and sofas. The villas are located beyond this, on either side of an enchanting central garden, which is planted with sweet scented frangipani trees, and an abundance of brightly colored tropical flowers and shrubs. Two wide, snaking pathways wind through the garden past two 20 meter swimming pools situated on different levels, therefore providing a greater element of choice and privacy for guests. Each pool is presided over by a ‘bale’ – a traditional Balinese relaxation pavilion. These raised, breezy pavilions are furnished with deep cushions, and are perfect for chilling out, reading a book, or enjoying cocktails at sunset. Happy Park Villa also features the common facility of a Clubhouse, a large open-sided pavilion with stone pillars supporting an ironwood shingle roof above a slate floor. Defining yet not enclosing space, the pavilion is gracefully furnished with modern chairs and sofas, complemented by a richly carved Kartini sofa and colonial-style chairs and coffee tables. Cooled by natural breezes and ceiling fans, this ample Clubhouse is ideal for entertaining, and is the perfect venue for music and dance performances, parties, weddings and functions. The adjoining kitchenette provides the staff with the facilities to cater for small events. Special events can also be coordinated by professional outside caterers who have the world-class expertise to prepare a sumptuous feast, in addition to the coordination of decorations, flowers, lighting, sound systems and entertainment. The rear side of the Clubhouse presents another surprise; a large timber sundeck is furnished with tables, sun umbrellas and sun loungers. This can also be used as a barbeque deck, thereby providing another wonderful open-air venue for parties. Two spa pavilions grace the back corners of the deck, offering a peaceful setting for a massage. There is also a security guard house, and a powerful generator to ensure electricity in the event of a black out. High speed broadband internet access is available at the reception for guests to use at a fee, and each villa has a “flexi phone” from which local and long distance calls can be made, and from which internet access is also possible.

All of the villas at Happy Park Villa are single storey and completely self-contained with individual entrances, yet their close proximity to one another means that they are ideal for larger groups of people, or families, who want to be close to each other while still retaining an element of independence and privacy. The style blends modern Balinese architecture with minimalist design, local materials, high quality fixtures and fittings, and practical internal and external lighting. While each villa is fully air-conditioned, guests also have the option of opening the sliding glass doors to create a tropical ambience and allow the cool breezes to permeate. Fashionable furnishings grace natural solid wood floors under soaring ironwood shingle roofs, colorful local artwork and carved Palimanan stone friezes adorn the interior and exterior walls. Guests’ needs are considered with the thoughtful array of bathroom amenities, and the provision of a safe deposit. Each villa boasts a combined living and dining room integrating a kitchenette, which is located behind a solid teakwood bar complete with high chairs. The living areas are tastefully furnished with deeply-cushioned sofas, chairs and coffee tables, and each is equipped with a 21-inch screen TV with satellite channels, together with a DVD and high quality sound system. Each kitchenette is fully equipped with an oven, a four-burner gas hob, a refrigerator, a good range of utensils, and quality tableware. Each villa also features a well-equipped study with built-in cupboards and a desk overlooking a 13-metre-long colonial-style verandah furnished with dining tables, chairs and daybeds. The villa gardens are planted with palms, frangipani trees, red hibiscus, heliconia and other flowering shrubs complemented by beautiful towering trees. The bedrooms are characterized by sliding glass doors that admit plenty of natural light and open up onto the verandah. The luxuriously appointed Garden Villas I & II consist of a fully equipped open plan kitchen,dining and living area, a study overlooking an expanse of gardens, a spacious bedroom with a queen-size bed, a walk in dressing area, a large bathroom featuring a rain forest shower, a sunning terrace and an elevated dining veranda. The walls, inside and out, are for the most part made of local stone, and the floors of natural solid woods.

Sunset Villa
Identical to the Garden Villas, the Sunset Villa offers a tremendous view directly facing an expanse of rice-fields and the most magnificent sunset

Temple Villa & Terraces Villa
The Temple and Terraces Villas offer the height of luxury with private infinity pools of 9 and 13 meters in length respectively. In addition they each have separate guest houses, comprising of a second bedroom with an en suite bathroom as well as a private terrace, making them ideal for families or small groups traveling together. Both elegantly appointed villas have direct views of the beautiful rice fields and include the same features of the Garden and Sunset Villas.

All villas have individually controlled air conditioning, satellite TV, CD/DVD players, hairdryers, international direct dial telephones and personal safes.

Services
The management of Happy Park Villa provides 24-hour security, daily housekeeping services, maintenance and gardening with a carefully selected team of 15 highly trained, dedicated associates who will do their best to ensure that guests experience a truly enjoyable stay in Bali. Headed by the estate manager, who is available to assist guests during their stay, the staff serve optional continental breakfast at the Clubhouse, make up the villas, tend to the landscaping, and cater to every need and whim from shopping for food and beverages, to taking care of the daily laundry. Trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine, they will cook meals on demand, organize Baby-sitting and massage services and the facilities of a car and driver are also available on request at an extra charge.
